Two new mydlink cameras, the DCS-8526LH Full HD Pan/Tilt Pro Wi-Fi Camera and the DCS-8630LH Full HD Outdoor Wi-Fi Spotlight Camera have been launch by D-Link A/NZ. These new units feature more intelligent surveillance capabilities through edge-based person detection with AI technology. In addition, the DCS-8630LH also has an integrated spotlight.

Interoperability features heavily with these new units. Along with working within the mydlink ecosystem, they also conform to the ONVIF standard allowing them to effortlessly connect to a NAS or NVR. Likewise, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa are supported too.

The camera’s enhanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) is smart enough to differentiate between humans and pets or passing cars, reducing the chances of a false alarm. The edge-based processing allows for the heavy lifting to be done by the cameras rather needing to rely on cloud processing. As a result, alerts are sent much faster. Security concerns with wireless and edge-computing are addressed through the use of industry-standard 128-bit encryption.
The DCS-8526LH (RRP AUD$179.95) and the DCS-8630LH (RRP AUD$279.95) are available now from any authorised reseller.
