The PlayStation®4 will have an additional USB slot on the back, will come with a 1TB HDD, and will share the same UI as the PlayStation®4 and the Slim. While the Pro does support 4K streaming it does not in-fact have an UHD player which rules it out as a 4K Blu-ray player. The Pro has the same look as the Slim however the Pro is triple stacked.

The PlayStation 4 Pro

“Today marks an exciting new milestone for PlayStation as we unveiled the high-end PS4 Pro in the midst of the console lifecycle, catering to gamers who are looking for a heightened PS4 experience,” said Andrew House, President and Global CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment. “By accelerating the innovation cadence at PlayStation, we’re introducing choice in the marketplace, enabling gamers to choose the PS4 model that meets their needs. Ultimately, with titles that leverage the potential of PS4 Pro – plus PlayStation VR launching soon – all PS4 owners continue to benefit from having the best place to play.”

As has been the case with previous slim models of PlayStation systems. The slimmer PS4 keeps the same overall design, however the edges are rounded and smooth, giving the device a softer look. Gone is the split of matte top and plastic HDD cover. The top of the Slim is one matte black piece.
