The success and subsequent demand from the first edition of ‘Vote to Play’ has pushed PlayStation to answer the call and give Plus users more say in the games they receive. ‘Vote to Play’ was first introduced to Plus users in August 2015 to choose the game that would enter the September Plus line-up. They were given a choice between 3 games – Armella, Grow Home, and Zombie Vikings.
With the success, PlayStation has brought it back. Voting for the game will begin on February 9th, with the game with the most votes entering the March Plus line-up. The games are:
Assault Android Cactus. From local Brisbane indie game developers, Witch Beam. Assault Android Cactus is a couch co-op twin stick shooter game, offering casual pick-up-and play group fun. Utilising PlayStation’s Shareplay, players can let friends join their game for up to an hour at a time, essentially creating a unique online “couch co-op” experience.
Action Henk! From publisher Curve Digital and developer RageSquid comes Action Henk. A racer game where you control past-their-prime action figures to race your way through toy room environments.
The last game in the ‘Vote to Play’ library is Broforce. Broforce is an action adventure side-scroller that pays homage and spoofs 80s action heroes and their adventures. The level designs bring the 80s action themes and locations to life. Broforce is developed by Free Lives and is published by Devolver.
Plus users will be able to choose between these 3 games starting February 9. Plus users can go through their PS4 systems, and access Vote to Play through the PlayStation Plus section. Users will also be able to vote by accessing the PlayStation Store through their internet browser, heading over to PlayStation Plus for all the voting details.
