Micron Launches 9300 Series High-Performance NVMe SSDs for Cloud & Enterprise Markets

Micron Technology has unveiled its new series of flagship NVM Express™ (NVMe™) based solid-state drives (SSDs). The Micron 9300 series feature industry-leading storage performance with higher capacities suitable for the cloud and enterprise.

Built for data centres for the cloud and enterprise, the Micron 9300 series can store, access and quickly analyse large amounts of business-critical data. Likewise, having 3.5GB/second read/write throughput doesn’t hurt either.

Key features of the new Micron 9300 series include:

  • 850,000 read and 310,000 write inputs/outputs (IOPS)
  • High density – capacities up to 15.36TB enable per-rack storage density
  • Data-integrity – data-path protection, power-loss protection for in-flight and at-rest data, sanitise crypto erase, and more

The Micron 9300 series of NVMe SSD is available now from any authorised Micron reseller. It’s available in two versions based on required endurance and performance:

  • 9300 PRO series – For read-intensive workloads: capacities of 3.84TB, 7.68TB and 15.36TB
  • 9300 MAX – Mixed-use applications: capacities of 3.2TB, 6.4TB and 12.8TB
