Huawei has unveiled release details on their latest camera innovation for the P30 series. Owners can “unleash” their creativity with the new Dual-View Camera Mode. Users will have the capability of creating split-screen videos by utilising the primary and zoom camera lens. This allows you to record in two perspectives simultaneously – normal plus one that is 2x-15x zoomed in.
“At Huawei, we pride ourselves on our ability to constantly provide innovative features that enhance our customers’ day to day lives. This new camera mode can play a part in all of our lives – from travellers not wanting to miss a moment, to parents watching their kids play sport as they record what’s happening on the field while also zooming in on their child. We are excited to bring this new feature to market and we know Aussies will love it.”Managing Director of Huawei Consumer Australia, Mr Larking Huang.
To get this new feature, P30/P30 Pro owners will need to update to the latest software when available. Some of the key features of the Dual-View Camera Mode include:
- Ability to capture a wider perspective at the same time
- Simultaneously zooming in on desired subjects via the split screen
- Simultaneously filming two different angles, panoramic and close up
- Ability to adjust the magnification level
- Taking artistic and creative videos of special moments
The software update is expected to start rolling out from Friday 10th May for customers that have purchased from retail stores. Carrier bought handsets (Telstra, Optus, Vodafone) will receive the update a week later.
