Epson makes Top 100 Global Innovators listing 7th year in a row

For the seventh consecutive year in a row, Epson has made the Top 100 Global Innovators list recently announced by Clarivate Analytics. A great result for Epson which has been named on the list every year since its inception in 2011.

“Epson is honoured to have been selected for inclusion in the Top 100 Global Innovators” list for the seventh consecutive year,” – Toshiya Takahata, Executive Officer and General Administrative Manager, Epson’s Intellectual Property Division.

“Epson’s business strategies and intellectual property strategies are closely linked under our Epson 25 Corporate Vision. The acquisition of high-quality patents that contribute to our business is a high priority for us. We are constantly seeking to realise products and services that exceed the expectations of our customers and society, and believe we have been honoured as a global innovator out of an appreciation for our research and development efforts and intellectual property activities. Moving forward, we will continue to develop intellectual property that underpins the creation of competitive products.”

According to Clarivate Analytics, Epson was chosen again this year largely due to them:

  • Consistently exhibiting a strong performance in successfully obtaining rights to their innovation
  • Consistently seeking wide protection and global markets for potential products and services based on that innovation
  • Being recognised by their peers as creating leading innovation for others to build on.
