Epson have released a new WorkForce DS-570W document scanner to their WorkForce scanner range. Featuring scan speeds of up to 35ppm and a wide range of media options, this unit is shaping up to be a great addition to any office.
“With a new slow mode for scanning crumpled or fragile documents, and their innovative Double Feed Detection Skip, the ability to scan challenging media has never been easier. Intelligent features improve efficiency, accuracy and data reliability, and whether you’re scanning documents as long as six metres, paper as thin as 27 gsm, or card as thick as 413 gsm, you can rely on these models for rapid document processing at the highest quality.” – Bruce Bealby, Epson Australia General Manager Sales & Marketing – Consumer Division.
The DS-570W incorporates Dynamic Skew Correction (DSC) and a state of the art roller paper feed design making it capable of handling a range of document types from business cards to oversized documents. Similarly, the DS-570W incorporates the use of ultrasonic sensors to assist in avoiding misfeeds. The Automatic Feeding Mode even lets you resume scanning if a feeding error does occur.
If you are also needing to scan bound media such as books or passports, an optional flatbed conversion kit is available. You do need to be using USB 3.0 connectivity though. The Epson DS-570W WorkForce document scanner also includes wireless connectivity which enables easy scanning direct to Wi-Fi enabled devices such as smart phones, tablets and more.
The WorkForce DS-570W is available now from your local Epson retailer and has a recommended retail price of $599.
