D-Link ANZ Launches the DGS-3630 Series – Next Generation Layer 3 Stackable Managed Gigabit Switches with PoE

Enhanced hardware, software, features and performance for SMB, enterprise and ISPs

Launching their next generation Layer 3 Managed Gigabit Switches, D-Link have posted details on the new DGS-3630 series in Australia. The new series now includes 2 Power over Ethernet (PoE) models – DGS-3630-28PC (24 PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet ports) and DGS-3630-52PC (48 PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet ports). Both PoE models also support 4 x 10GbE SFP+ ports making them a potential solution to Layer 3 network environments.

The new series promises to be a suitable core switch for medium to large businesses due to the 10Gbps uplink ports and flexible stacking architecture. The DGS-3630 series is capable of aggregating all traffic in a network whilst providing high reliability and availability.
