Crucial Launches Next Generation BX200 SSD

SSDs do the same tasks as traditional hard drives – they start up the computer, store and load applications and files. The main advantage that SSDs have over HDD is the significant read and write speeds. The Crucial BX200 SSD offers substantial performance upgrades over standard hard drives, allowing users to start-up almost instantly, load applications and files with in ease in seconds, providing an overall boost to the system.

The BX200 delivers read/write speeds of 540 MB/s and 490 MB/s respectively. In comparison to standard hard drives, the BX200 is up to 13 times faster, and up to 40 times more energy efficient.
