ASUS H1 LED Projector- Full HD
SHARE

ASUS is known for many things, most notably their high-quality computers. Luckily for consumers, though, that’s not all they make. Today we’re talking about their newest projector, the H1 LED.

The Basics

For a 1080p projector, this unit is awesome, plain and simple. I’ve had the pleasure of using countless 1080p projectors over the years, but this one is something special. A common struggle I’ve had with projectors of this resolution in the past is image quality - something you won’t worry about with the H1.

The H1 is rated for 3,000 lumens and provides a 1080p image on up to 200 inches of wall or projector fabric. While your wall might not have quite enough space to accommodate that, it’s okay - it’ll look great at just about any size.

Movies and Gaming

Images absolutely pop with this machine. I’m an avid PC gamer, so I wanted to test it out in my natural habitat, and I have to say, it holds up. Even though I normally use a 4K screen with a modern gaming console, I didn’t see any of the screen tearing or stuttering that I expected.

And movies looked equally as wonderful on the big screen in its natural habitat - a dark room with little ambient light.

Downsides

There honestly aren’t many. As long as you take the time to properly set this up in a proper place (and use it at night), it’s going to perform and look great. It’s relatively small and sleek for a projector, so it looks good on a shelf.

Really the only problem I had was the remote - it’s a bit small and hard to use at night, but I have big sausage fingers. Setting the projector up somewhere you’ll be able to use the remote will serve you well in the long run.

Final Thoughts

This thing is great. It looks better than most 1080p projectors I’ve used, performs wonderfully, and doesn’t take up too much space. Gamers on a budget, rejoice for you’ve found the best way to play right here with the ASUS H1 projector.
