The speed and capacity of the new card offers everything you would need to capture that next adrenaline filled adventure. Or, if that’s not your style, the card is still capable of recording or storing plenty of video and music. For example, up to 9hrs of 4K, 36hrs of 1080P, 67600 photos or 58100 songs.

“I use microSD cards in my drones, and the Lexar 256GB Professional 1000x microSD card will enable me to capture large amounts of imagery and high definition video without having to change cards on location. That’s huge!” – Chris McLennan, Lexar Elite and professional travel, wildlife, adventure, and aerial photographer.

The new card will be available sometime in Q1-2017 with a suggested retail price of AUS$449.95. Other capacities including 32GB, 64GB and 128GB are also available. If you are looking for a slightly more affordable solution, Lexar are also moving their 256GB High Performance 633x microSDXC to UHS Speed Class 1 and will retail that for around AUD$249.95. These will also have the same alternative capacities (32GB – 256GB).
