Fitbit Blaze: Get Fit in Style

Fitbit has become a household name when it comes to wearable fitness trackers. Not just a Smartwatch and not just a fitness tracker like the Fitbit’s before it. The Blaze is a Smartwatch and fitness tracker hybrid.

The Blaze has a Gorilla Glass 3 covered, 1.66 inch colour touchscreen. Connected to a smartphone, the Blaze can receive notifications such as calls, texts, and calendar alerts. In combination with the phones GPS, users can map out their runs and view routes. The Blaze is sweat, rain, and splash proof, but it is not water proof, so a swim at the beach or pool is a no-no. The Blaze also has two buttons on the side of the device to allow for a second method of navigating around in cases where the touchscreen doesn’t register, or the user’s hands are overly wet.

The Fitbit Blaze is available for pre-order right now at a price of AUD$329.95. Additional bands are also available for pre-order and will be available when the Blaze launches.
